Workshop: Strengthening Quantitative Methods in Doctoral Research

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, through the Doctor of Economics Study Program, organized a workshop themed “Quantitative Method Design in Doctoral Research to Enhance Quality and Depth of Analysis” on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the MM Building, 3rd Floor, FEB Unud Campus, Denpasar.

This activity aimed to strengthen doctoral students' understanding of the application of quantitative methods to produce higher quality and more profound research. The workshop was officially opened by the Coordinator of the Doctor of Economics Study Program, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Purbadharmaja, S.E., M.E.

The core material was presented by Prof. Dwi Budi Santoso, S.E., M.S., Ph.D., who provided a comprehensive review of quantitative method designs specifically for doctoral-level research. The session was highly interactive, featuring a discussion period that showcased the great enthusiasm of the participants.

Through this workshop, it is expected that doctoral students will be able to elevate the quality of their research and produce scientific works that contribute significantly to both the advancement of science and economic development
